Congratulations, you’ve made your first variant. Next, in the right panel, click the plus sign (+) on the right side of the Variants section and a duplicate of your component appears. This naming convention is really important to follow and I’ll be explaining it further in just a moment.Ĭlick on that component to make sure it’s selected. Next, rename this component Feedback-block/AccountStatus/Success. When you click on the Assets panel, you can see the component here and could drag it onto the page and reuse it throughout the project. Select that and then choose Object > Create component or Command+ Shift+ K on the Mac or Control+ Shift+ K on the PC. To begin, we have a gray frame with two text layers grouped inside. You can also find that link in the Resources section for this video. You can follow along with me by going to this URL on Figma Community, where you can duplicate this project. This is a huge benefit because it cuts down the number of components you need to create and makes it easy for anyone working with this project to find what they need. Jeremy Osborn: Variants are a feature in Figma that allow anyone to add a component to a page, browse through multiple variations, and then choose the one they want.
